This course will introduce learners to the use of sticky traps.

This course should be completed by those persons within a BioSecure HACCP certified business who are using sticky traps in their surveillance activity or those who should have knowledge of their use. This includes: Certification Controllers, Authorised Inspection Persons, Authorised Persons and Authorised Signatories.

Persons within in non BioSecure HACCP certified businesses are also strongly encouraged to complete this course.

By the completion of this course learners will be familiar with:
• Sticky trap use
• Sticky trap colour
• Sticky trap density and positioning
• Inspection of sticky traps

At the completion of this course a short test will be given and once successfully completed learners will be issued with a certificate of completion. For those Certified Nursery Professionals or those looking to be certified, successful completion of this course awards 2 CNP points.

This course may be a prerequisite course for the specific ECCP courses which are required for businesses wishing to use their BioSecure HACCP certification as part of a market access program.
