Learning outcomes
At the completion of this learning guide, you will be able to:
•Understand the history and background of the Australian Plant Production Standard (APPS);
•Identify the aims and objectives of the Australian Plant Production Standard (APPS) ;
•Describe some of the technical aspects of the Australian Plant Production Standard (APPS);
•Demonstrate an awareness of the Australian Plant Production Standard (APPS).

Included in this will be:
•An understanding of the term ‘Best Practice’
•An ability to state the benefits of the Australian Plant Production Standard (APPS) from the perspective of a grower and supplier;
•Describe the process that businesses go through to be involved in the Australian Plant Production Standard (APPS);
•Understand the commitments needed by an accredited/certified business operating under the Australian Plant Production Standard (APPS);
•Understand the role of the key people involved in the Australian Plant Production Standard (APPS) process; and
•Understand the forms and record keeping undertaken as part of the Australian Plant Production Standard (APPS).

Course duration is approximately 1 hour. Participants can however log out at any point and resume the course from where they left off.

Participants will be awarded a certificate upon completion and are eligible for 1 CNP point.
