BioSecure HACCP - Procedures and Techniques

Session overview:
A number of practical demonstrations and procedures relating to on farm biosecurity management are explored including testing, inspecting and monitoring.

Learning outcomes:
At the completion of this session, participants will be able to:
•Have a basic understanding of water testing in a nursery production situation
• Understand biosecurity inspection procedures for vehicles, imports, inline despatch and end point despatch
• Have an elementary knowledge level of site surveillance and crop monitoring techniques
• Have an understanding of disinfestation procedures including personal disinfestation
• Be familiar with the use of sticky traps


Course duration is approximately 1:20hrs. Participants can however log out at any point and pick up from where they have left off.

Participants will be awarded a certificate upon completion. This course is also a prerequisite for a number of BioSecure HACCP courses found in the course catalogue.
